Darling mother bought me a few bits that I need for my birthday trip to Wales with the boyf as I'd just paid her the 2 months rent I owed her!
Would smile all over my face, but the 11mile, 3hr!!!! journey last night (should have taken 20mins) has spoilt my weekend.Damn the snow ice and people who can't drive.

Hey Catt were you stuck in SNowy Wales yesterday. I live there. Left work at 11.30 to travel the SIX MILES home and got home at 3.50!!! Think I used up about half a tank of petrol in traffic jams.0

Hi GirlRacer, no I was in Worcestershire - trying to get from Worcester city to Kidderminster. Was running on petrol fumes all the way, so couldn't put the heater on otherwise I never would have made it home! Left work at 4.30 got home at 7.450

My "solution" for this is to travel the back-roads. No, they haven't been gritted, but the main roads haven't been gritted either....

Also got some replacement coffee which I'll hide from evil housemates so that means no more starbucks for a while, even though they were worried about me cause I looked ill.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 234 Proud to be dealing with my debts I love the Dave Ramsey podcasts. Update: Spent £28.74 on weekly grocery shop which is way WAY below budget, yippee! :j
However I do still have some fresh veggies to get towards the end of the coming week and last week I *did* stock up on cheaper soya milk from Tesco which has helped. Also I am really eking out the washing powder by mixing with soda crystals which also helps.
Mind you the forecast for my geographical area is bleak for the rest of the week - don't think I'll be doing much washing, may be building an ark though.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
