Just an introduction from a long time lurker in New Zealand (the land of a thousand earthquakes).
The situation with PPC tickets in NZ is the same as the UK, garbage. With help from sites like this a few of us have ignored these sorts of tickets over the years (mostly at shopping malls) - nothing ever happens.
For complicated reasons (an ex business partner who was a thief mostly), I've also dealt with numerous debt collecting companies as well - glad to say with help from sites like this I've never paid a single one - and never will.
As I tell people, would you pay if the letter or phonecall was from Nigeria?
If not, why pay someone locally?
Debt collecting companies (sic) seem remarkably shy about court. I wonder why?

Thanks for bringing this perspective, there are some familiar faces here and some who post under different names on other sites.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Well scammers are everywhere I guess, but it's good that people are educating themselves , and that there are websites out there helping people not to get conned out of their money
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0
