Click Energy - British Gas

I signed up for Click Energy in October.

Took around 2 months to sort out, toady I received a bill?

Now I thought the whole idea of Click Energy is that you don’t receive a bill its all done on line.

I submit my meter reading online as requested.


As per usual I received 2 separate bills one for my Gas and one for Electricity, both full of the usual bumpf that comes with a bill, that goes straight in the bin, in fact I might start posting it back to them if they send me a prepaid envelope.

HERES A BRILLIANT SUGGESTION (sarcasm intended) TRY PUTTING BOTH BILLS IN ONE ENVEOPLE, I CAN HEAR THE BOSSESS AT BRITISH GAS GASPING IN AMAZEMENT AT THE MONEY/PAPER AND EXPENSES THAT COULD BE SAVED.

I doubt they will be gasping in amazement, they've already thought of it.

They cannot put two bills in one envelope. Someone doesn't actually sit there and think "I know, I'll put both these bills in one envelope for gullarm and save 30p" - they are all done automatically by the machine.

They will be offering joint billing eventually, where you can request having your gas and electric on the same bill - it was supposed to be in place a year ago but is one of the many things that haven't worked when they brought in the "marvellous" new billing system.
