Pre-payment meters
I have gotten behind with my gas and electric payments. I had offered to set up payments that will be £20 per month more than the actual monthly costs. I was informed this is not acceptable and would have to have pre-payment meters installed. I was due to have them installed on the 19th december but had to re-arrange till the 6th January due to doctors appointment. I waited in all morning and they did not show. I have since been informed this may not be the case. Could anyone advise please?

What may 'not be the case'?
If you are unable to keep to an agreed repayment plan on credit meters then voluntary PPMs are often the best solution.

Rearrange the appointment, you should also get some compensation (think it's 20 quid but not sure) for the no-show.0
