It is not when you paid for the goods, but when you became aware of the problem, see WHICH
"There is also a time limit on claims - Visa, for example, sets a 120 day time limit which starts from the day you are aware of a problem. In the case of tangible goods that you've purchased from a shop or online it would therefore be from the day you receive the items. "

Thanks for that Derrick, good info. I paid a deposit in May, received the goods and paid the remainder in August. We reported the faults on delivery, then on delivery of the replacements (yesterday) we reported the faults on these too and refused delivery. Its been a bit of a saga and poor customer service who give you lip service and never call you back, therefore a lack of confidence with the company. I may be paranoid about this, but I would rather be armed with some good info incase my paranoia becomes real.
Many thanks again.:beer:0
