Need help sorting "STUFF" for Ebay

Have just been landed with a HUGE bill , so need to start gathering any kind of money I can get - asap.
I have loads and loads of "STUFF" which I do not/never have used:o. In the Wardrobes, under the bed, in the cupboards, every space is full. PLEASE HELP with your good advice, suggestions and ideas:idea:
So where do I start? getting them organised for listing on ebay?
Is it best to wait for free weekend listings, or not?
and
what's the best method of deciding on a price?
Now I have decided to get "RID/SELL ON,:T everything that I have no use for, I think you call it - hoarding, I feel very excited about it all, and can't wait to clear the clutter, and accumulate some pennies for the bill. Which by the way will probably take about 4 years to clear. (Just a rough (very rough) guess.
Will be good for the Feun Shui of the House, and hopefully bring me some "LUCK" Thanks to you all.

be careful though as I had my account suspended for selling too much too quick and had my paypal account limited for six months as a new seller and I have heard this has happened quite a bit over Dec/Jan. Im sure one of the regulars will be here with more info soon0 -
do you already have a seller account?
i like to sort a few items and make sure i have suitable packaging , list them so you are ready to post next day
free listing day would save a little , and you can risk trying the items that might not sell that well
get nice clear photos and list them in the auction text , seems to help a little0 -
If you do not have a selling account already then you will be limited to 10 items a month for a while.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hmmm, sorry bout that, How much is too much and too quick????
they want the business, then restrict you, so unfair!!!!
Steveo32 - do you already have a seller account?
Sorry, new to this - don't know how to quote 2 different quotes in the same answer.
Yes, I do have an account, already, but not listed that much on it before. This time I am talking MAJOR.Looking forward to the day I have nothing left to list on eBay0 -
If you're listing clothes in a variety of sizes, I'd list the same sizes at the same time.
Always offer combined p&p & put in your listings that you do so. Buyers don't like to pay more than stamp cost, so don't add more than the packaging costs to your p&p.
Keep an eye on your sellers dashboard.
To double quote on here, press the bright balloon like next to the quote button.0 -

Thought I would start with something fairly easy and quick to go through, so;-
That's all my DVD''s and some old videos done - plenty here - quite a few with the wrappers still on them, but don't want to keep them as I am determined to clear out and raise some money, .......... so do I group them in 4's or 5's to list, ........ list individually,.......... or do a job lot????? Anyone listed these before? and what would raise the best price?????Looking forward to the day I have nothing left to list on eBay0 -

Do your research before you list a thing. Check out completed listings, there is for instance virtually no market at all for videos anymore- it is only a handful of rare ones that never made it to DVD that are worth bothering with- the rest are landfill unfortunately.
DVDs are also cheap on ebay- so make sure the ones you want to list are worth the bother. Also remember that postage costs for media including DVDs is capped at (i think) £1.50 - so if you want to list in bundles you will have to add the extra postage costs onto the start price.
Really though completed listings should be your first port of callI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. A DVD in a jiffy envelope is 2 x 1st class stamps to post, don't bother with recorded delivery, for larger items of clothing etc a courier such as https://www.myhermes.co.uk or https://www.collectplus.co.uk than RM. Don't charge anything above stamp price, and I find old DVD players etc will sell really well, and are great for the first few sales on your account as the values aren't too low but aren't too high. DVDs and PS2 games also go quite well, although more often than not, you're better off starting them at 99p so the listing is free than £1.10 and pay 20p for the listing0
