So as EDF moved me to their standard variable tariff and couldn't offer me anything cheaper with them I decided to switch. First Utility were top of comparison lists but then when I tried to switch to them they said as I was supplied by an IGT they couldn't offer me the tariff. Slightly annoying but went back through the comparison sites and decided against OVO due to reading the forum posts so went for Scottish Power fixed priced to April 2013.THe very next day EDF announced the price drop so should I cancel the fix and wait for the sheep to all move level again or let the switch go through?
Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.

It's only a 5% drop on variable rates. The fixed rate should still be cheaper. If you want to wait you will be missing out on the remainder of winter at low rates. I'd stick with it.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
