Buying in less the the best parts of town

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha - I was advised by my snobby sister (who rents a hell hole) not to buy my house as it's in 'a bad part of town'. Well having lived here for 6 months and found it a lovely place to live with nice neighbours and no trouble, there are now other houses on my street on the market for £30000 more than we paid for ours. Feeling a little smug now!! My house was never an investment - it was always just a home. But it's quite nice to know that I've bought a good bargain!!

I moved from a really expensive village because despite it being a lovely house, I really couldn't see what I was paying for. When I moved from London though, it looked like a bargain!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
