Barclaycard extended warranty - applies to second hand items?

Hi, I'm planning on buying something reasonably expensive second hand through eBay and was going to pay for it on my Barclaycard through Paypal, will I get the 12 month extended warranty on the item? If so and it doesn't come with any warranty at all does that mean I have a 12 month warranty from the date of purchase? I can't seem to find any information on their site or in any of their policy booklets.

Thanks for any help!

I'd say that it only applies to new items, as second hand items may be more likely to break, and I do remember Barclays stating it only extended the manufacturers warranty, so if there isn't even a manufacturers warranty they can't extend it.

I'd read your T&Cs more carefully, or contact Barclaycard before the purchase.

If this is the Barclaycard World Mastercard then according to the insurance T&Cs both second hand and internet purchases are excluded.

And even if they weren't, I don't think you'd be covered buying through a third party such as Paypal.

Can I find out my credit score?
You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)

Internet purchases ARE included, what isn;t are purchased through card processors (like PayPal) your payment must be made direct to the merchant supplying the goods. S/h items are not covered.
