Smoking is illegal in work vehicles if they EVER get driven by someone else.

My truck for example - the warehouse lads move it round the yard for loading, etc.

Having said all that, it is a truly ludicrous law. I smoke, I hate to think of spending a whole day driving and not being able to have a smoke so I pretty much ignore this ill thought out piece of foolishness from Westminster (as do most drivers who smoke). I'm sure one of our gallant traffic cops would take great pleasure in dropping me a ticket for this, but that probably says more about him.

I'm a non-smoker and my grandad's cigarette smoke has always smelt sweet to me ...

Alright, next time (if there is a next time) I'll ask her if she smokes. I bet you she does
