Fascia and soffit replacement - two questions!

There has not been much activity on this subject recently but I've had a quote from Acorn South Wales for Rosewood colour UPVC facias and soffits to the front and around our double garage on our 4 bed detached house for 3000 quid. They kept following up but I've not had a written quote specifying what materials they will use exactly what will be replaced and no hint of any warranty. Now I know there work is good as we have had doors and windows from them but I don't like the lack of detail provided. I'd like to get alternative quotes from reputable local tradespersons that have other customers in the area that have had similar works done. Any recommendations for the Abergavenny area?0

it might be too late for me to reactivate this thread, but having a similar issue.
in our 3 bedroom detached house we have damp ceilings upstairs which we cannot seem to resolve.
Our first workman (who apparently did some work on the house when it was built 14 years ago) said it was due to the loft insulation going right up to the edge so he pulled it back and suggested we invest in a plugged in de-humidifier (as hiring one would work out expensive) and run it as & when we could.
this didn't work so second person to check it said as we had a low roof with no air tiles it could be a build up of condensation in the loft.
He added that due to our house having a 2 roof style and the loft access only gives access to one loft space (it's a long house and roof changes which way it faces half way along) there wasn't anywhere for the condensation to go in the loft space with no access.
Air tiles all fitted and he said he could reach through from where he took the tiles off and touch the ceiling which felt damp|).
Problem still persists so we've had guttering cleaned and it was suggested by the cleaning company that we should look at getting it changed as a few clamps broken and this could be the cause of the problem if rain was pouring sideways onto the house.
We've had 5 people round to quote and not one of them has got back to us with a quote. We've tried calling them and asking if there's a problem with access as the walkways between our neighbours and our house is narrow, but the neighbours don't have a problem with workmen using access/ladders on their property, but no one returns our calls.
I would rather they say no and give the reason why than just not bother!
So here we are, 15 months later and still damp ceilings with black patches in the corners (which we do clean away!)
A long post but we really need some decent guidance & work done!
Could it be that replacing just the guttering will prove useless unless sofits & facia not changed as well?
Anyone here from around Spalding - Peterborough and all places between???0 -

My inlaws are not too far from you, they used the same people I used, Mw Roofline might be worth asking them as we had damp issues. otherwise go on the NFRC website and search for someone on there, Good luck!0
