Faulty chainsaw purchased from eBay

Hello there.
In September 2011 I purchased a refurbished chainsaw (with 12 month replacement warranty) from a company on eBay. The eBay item number is 190572769469 if you would like to view the advert. I bought the chainsaw for £92.98.
It was delivered on 8/9/11 and it was working well until it stopped working on 1/10/11. I am not mechanically minded so I took it to my neighbour who knew about chainsaws and he told me that the clutch was seized. I contacted the seller and he told me to send it back for a replacement. I received the second chainsaw and this didn't work at all - it didn't even start up at all. I sent this one back too and then a third saw was sent out. At this point I was getting a bit ticked off. The third saw did start up but after using it for about only 1 hour I noticed that it wasn't working properly. The safety feature wasn't working, when the saw was running on idle the chain is not meant to be moving at all but the clutch was permanently engaged and the chain was still running.
This 3rd saw was returned to the company and I requested that I would like a full refund and also reimbursing for 3 lots of postage costs at £12.60.
The seller has totally refused to refund me any of mymoney and I don't know what to do now. I have been to see the Citizen's advice bureau who have helped me write a letter to the seller quoting the Sales of goods act etc giving him 14 days to respond to my letter.
I've had no response to my letter and it's been longer than 14 days now. I'm thinking about taking the case to the small claims court but have no experience in this area and wondering if it will do any good or if it will just cost me even more money and lose the case etc???
I'm really puzzled and just hoping someone out there may have more experience in this area and can advise me on what to do?
Please help. Stephen.
