But the employers of those other people don't expect us to leave tips for the workers.0 -

For me, this is the issue - you should get wages that are right for the job. I would rather the prices in the restaurant were put up, the workers given a decent wage and tipping to be banned.
Completely 100% agree. Customers should not be made to feel guilty and expected to make up the shortfall because the boss won't pay proper wages.0 -
I usually leave 10% maximum tip. I think as I usually eat alone with my son people think I'm not going to tip, so if someone gives good service regardless I tip. If they just do the bare minimum (drinks and food on table, bring the bill at the end) I just round it up by a bit say 50p or so. If it's bad I don't tip.
I never EVER tip delivery drivers.
My last 2 boyfriends haven't tipped ever. I find this a bit embarrassing, they sit and wait for the change to the last penny."If you don't feel the bumps in the road, you're not really going anywhere "

Also I disagree that waiting staff should earn more than NMW + tips. There's no special skill involved,"If you don't feel the bumps in the road, you're not really going anywhere "
