Hi,

2 years ago CCLS ( Consumer Credit Litigation Services I think it was called ) contacted me about PPI. I had 2 loans that qualified. One was my credit card and the other was a via finance for a car. After about 7 months the company went broke and was well publicised. My folders ended up with a company called Gordons(?) in Bradford. The guy who had initially contacted me through CCLS said he would still look at the folders for me so I contacted Gordons and had the folders forwarded to him. Only one folder arrived, the credit card folder. After 2 months I got a letter saying I was unable to claim on this folder, which I accept. However when I contacted Gordons about the car finance folder they told me it had been dispatched as requested, but the other guy never recieved it. Where do I stand? is it worth contacting another company to take this up for me? I am not sure if I took PPI out on the finance or if it was missold to me, so I am unwilling to do anything that might incur some kind of cost for something I may or may not be entitled to. Are the details of that finance now lost? Please help.

Chris

Why do you need a company to do it for you?

loan and credit card PPi complaints have an over 90% uphold rate at the FOS. It is just about the easiest complaint you can make if you have a valid reason. You have already seen what the average claims company is like. So, why employ another one?

You dont know if you took it out. Why dont you ask the lender?
You dont know if you were mis-sold. That doesnt make you a reliable individual and a claims company isnt going to change that unless you were hoping they would make a fraudulent complaint on your behalf (which are still legally responsible for if they do)
