Average wait is usually 6/8 weeks , would contact you landlord to advise that the rent will be late maybe you can make a nominal payment whilst your waiting for your hb to come through also maybe if you show him that you have put in a claim and are chasing it , it might at least show that you are trying to sort it, also don't presume unless you are on jsa that your full rent is going to covered and always hand deliver everything to hb and get a receipt and guests it with your life they seem to lose everything then if you cant prove that you handed it in bang gord your claim . Why do I know this ? Because I used to work there !!!.
