Van for private use, 3 seats, recommendations?

Hi

I'm considering replacing one of our ageing cars with a van. It'd need to have 3 seats in the front - driver, one adult passenger and a child (using a booster seat only, not a full-on child seat). I'd like a van able to carry a pallet with about 650kg on it. It'd be for personal use only, commuting a fairly short distance, biking trips, and the like. Was thinking Citroen Despatch? Any advice?

Citroen dispatch is a pretty good van and has a capable load size. We used it for 2 adults and a baby in a car seat without to much fuss. They are favoured by alot of the motor cross guys over a transit (so I am told) as they will take a couple of motorbikes due to the inside length. Plenty of room up front too. The pugeout and fiat have identical vans too, partner and scudo.
Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.

We have a Peugeot partner bought to accommodate our son and his growing family who live in USA and have to met at airport with a lot of luggage. Room for cot and baby seats. OH also uses for his business. Rear seats fold flat as OH carries tables and boxes for business and passengers as well. Basically a van with windows. Two up front and three in back. Sliding doors on side and big picture windows. Quite high and wide but not too long to park. We like it.

These are based on the MPV that thre 3 companies also sell. They just don't bother trimming-out the back.
The advantage of using an MPV body for a van is that you get 2 side loading doors.

One of my previous employers had the Peugeot branded one and they drive really well. One word of advice, go for the TD as opposed to the non-turbo version, or you will be disappointed with the performance.
