Is anyone else obssessed with giving their supplier meter readings?
mr divadee always chuckles as at least once every 4-6 weeks i trot off round the house to the 2 meters and take the readings and call them through and the freephone meterline.
He says its to obsessive and its really only necessary twice a year.
Is it only me that is obsessed that there bill is totally up to date and we are not going to get stung for a massive bill?
I just worry especially through the winter that we are using far to much elec and gas and that our bill is going to be hideous!!!!
Come on obsessives who else checks there meters this often.

I update my online readings every week, plus keep a spreadsheet so I can see the rate of usage.Happy chappy0

we pay by direct debit and have in the past worked out annual consumption and agreed the payments with them.
this stopped the stupid annual fluctuations, it would jump by £15 per month and at the end of the year we would be £100 up so we would get a cheque and they would drop it by £15 per month, then we would owe £70 so they would increase it by £20 per month.
once we agreed an amount it rarely deviated as our annual usage didnt really vary much so the only thing to take into account was price variations.0 -

Sheesh...weekly???
I'm a once-a-month man myself
Don't forget to accidentally under-read your meter the day before the forthcoming price reductions take effect, to complement the accidental over-readings just before the price went up...where did I put my glasses???:D
