Ikea kitchen gift card? Not on online orders!

May be a no-brainer, I should have read the fine print more carefully but thought I might as well point it out in case anyone is like me! Ikeas current £100-200 gift card for spending £1000-2000 on a kitchen offer is only available if you order in the store.
Spent £2200 on the website as theres no credit card fee like in store, delivery is only £35 and much quicker than if you arrange it in store and getting around the shop/warehouse with a twin pushchair is a pain in the ****.
Thought I'd leave off the handles and lights to get later with the gift card. That'll teach me for trying to be clever!
On the bright side, the delivery came this morning, when they said it would. Driver was great, everything was scanned off the van and put carefully in the garage for me. Was expecting the worst getting a kitchen delivered on Friday 13th!!!

No credit card fee in store either the last time I shopped in there. They used to charge but have not done so for some time.Bought my dishwasher on my credit card - no fee.0 -
I didn't know that, I purposefully only ever used my credit card when I went over £70, so that the cashback of 1% offset the 70p charge, otherwise I used the debit card. Must look more closely in future.0

Have no idea if it varies from store to store. No two seem to be the same on some things! But unless it has been re-introduced very recently at Lakeside, no charge there.0 -
There was a 70p fee for CCs in Glasgow store for a while, but it was removed about 2 years ago.
Even is there still was the 70p charge.....would you even notice that if spending £2200!?0
