    Hi all,

Has anyone done a doughnut job for MF recently? I've got one tonight and looking through the paperwork it doesn't appear to show the deadline for submitting the assignment. Does anyone who's done one before know if it has to be done on the same day or is it a 24 hour one?

    Cheers

    A shy bairn gets nowt...

What is a bairn? Is it like a bear and a barn all in one? Anyroad, I asked, and the computer said no. Hope they manage to get them done before the end of Thursday. :p Talking of RA, do they pay once a month or something?

Just a quick question, with some clothes reimbursement purchases, they specifically say in the paperwork you are not to return them. If it does not say this in the paperwork, can we assume we can return them or exchange them?

I have cancelled the rest of my "various outlets at one place" jobs with Retail Active after completing one. For a tiny and I mean tiny place you have you write a complete essay for a really piddling fee and reimbursement. For the amount of work involved and for the fee just not worth it!
No Matter what you do there will be critics.

I did the same. It wasn't until I booked them I remembered why I never usually work for them. I fully expected them to ask for the assistants sock colour, collar size, blood group and name of their siblings. Life is too short.

I agree they had already asked most of the questions and then wanted 1000 words! How can you talk about one counter for so long?

it hasnt changed since last time they were around, hopefully people, and them will get the message for the next lot.

that said its seems other companies are offering pittance, have a gap phone call asking me to do a chicken and offered what I could count on one hand and still have spare... no incentive at all
said she would try some one else and if not see what she could do.. i almost felt sorry for her !

    What is a bairn?

A slang, affectionate term for a child.

"I'm taking the bairns to the match this weekend."

I think it's mostly used here in the North East. But I have heard the sweaty socks using it aswell.

What about the weather today?? It was mental!! 50mph winds, rain, sleet and then snow!! Last week seems like so long ago now.
