Got onto Bare a little while ago.

Talking of which could anyone who does work for Bare let me know of any banks that don't charge outrageous amounts for receiving payments in Euros. My bank (RBS) charges £7 per transaction!

I know this info has been posted in the past but must be an older thread as not having much luck using search function.

    Many thanks!

I can't for the life of me work out why they don't use Paypal for UK shoppers, quick, easy and spendable right away.

Although poor exchange rates...... If you choose the correct bank account a bank transfer in Euros is MUCH better

The CoOp don't and the money was in my account before I received the email telling me it had been sent. They used E1.22/£1 which was higher than I thought. resulting in about £3 less than I thought.

Do you know if it's possible to open a Euro account in UK as I travel to Spain quite a bit and could save it just for that.

Mmm so why did I get an email saying in not so many words, if I didn't update my account with bank details I wouldn't get paid? They had my Paypal details.

This where I am getting confused. On the shopper details page I put in my paypal email address but then said that my profile was not complete until I entered my bank details and wouldn't get all jobs until I did. Do I have to inform then I only want paypal payments? I've not done any work for them because of the charges.

Thanks for the info on the Co op bank workie ticket.

You are talking about fractions of small amounts though. If you bank with all but a small amount of banks you get hammered.
