HELP!! I have just finished writing a long and detailed report for Optimum Contact, and had to attach a recording - which is also quite long. My net connection is slow, and it takes about 15 minutes to upload the recording, at the end it says 100% uploaded, 1 second remaining, it then seems to get stuck. I can't submit the report without the recording, so am doubly stuck. I have cancelled the upload once, and re-done it, and the same thing has happened again. Would hugely appreciate some advice from somone more net savvy .... many thanks!0

Hi folks,
Another tax question, I know I have 3 months to register (2 left!) but I work part time and pay NI through that job. I have read I can apply for a waiver of NI through my self employed earnings. Can anyone confirm this please?
Thanks folks!!

I did a shop for Retail Active last Tuesday and haven't received payment, or heard anything from them.
Just wondering how long it usually takes?
Shops carried out in February were paid on 9th March. I would expect shops carried out in March to be paid around the same time in April. Email Laura and ask if she knows.0 -
I'm having a bit of a thick moment!
Am doing a report for the GfK bank phone call, and you know where it asks for the advisor's name, and gives the option for whether you got their full name or part name, or couldn't get their name - I'm not sure what to put. I got her whole first name, let's call her Jane, but is this a full name, or part name?!?
So would she have to be Jane Jones for it to be her full name? Or is just Jane ok as they probably never give their full full name!
I remember the last call I did, where the person who I was talking to wasn't English, and I really couldn't catch his name, and after asking him a couple of times you can't really ask again, so I put the part of it that I did catch in the 'part name' box, so am wondering if that situation is what the part name option is for.
I am aware that I have just asked what is actually a fairly straightforward question in the most unstraightforward way and blabbled on but I'm hoping someone knows what I mean.Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -

I thought they paid fairly promptly after is all so was wondering what had happened. I don't mind waiting another couple of weeksJust because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -

If you are expecting to earn under £5,075 (think that's still the right figure) then you need to apply for a Certificate of Small Earnings, CF10 form.

Thank you Monkeynut and Yonk. Great, I thought I was going to have to sort it in April. More time is fab
I have registered myself as self employed and received some confirmation back from the HMRC. I just thought the paper forms would come through to be completed for this April. Yay for it being next year. Online sounds more my type of thing.
Cheers again for your help.0 -
Thank you Cake!
Have just realised however as I was skimming over it at the end whilst it was running the spell check, and just as I clicked to continue it clicked that I had just seen I'd bloody written that her name was Jane.
Fml, What an idiot
Should I send a quick email to correct it, but then how do I explain that I accidentally wrote completely the wrong name!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
