They r probably waiting to see if someone else takes it up before they have to turn to you white but I really hope you do get what you want coz the whole pittance is crazy for them jobs and it would be nice to hear a good story coming from the company ESPECIALLY as its been taken over recently, they should show some goodwill for their rep and to us mere mortals! Lol x

Afternoon all! Not sure if anyone recognises my username; haven't been on here or MS'd for yeaaars!

Surprised it still goes on actually as I was certain it was almost down the pan a few years back - thought companies were taking the michael a little too much for anyone to waste their time!

How's it all going nowadays? Good to see some familiar names around!

Hiya Timmne - lovely to hear from you after all this time! :) Hope everything is going well with your business.

    Ahh what a welcome back!!

I'm not going to be getting back into MSing anytime soon; not because of the work/money necessarily, more the fact that I have no reputation with the companies anymore and I know from experience how hard that is to build up :/

I never did send GAPs scales and thermometer back from the coffee jobs! I did hold them to ransom though at one point as they didn't pay me, unfairly of course, for one of the jobs!

Nice to see some friendly names and even better to have some of you say hello :D

About 9 threads back there was people asking about you...

Here I go again on my own....

I don't think the reputation thing holds up that much any more. It's so much more online that it's only if they're desperate that you get a call. But I don't do much written any more so I don't know. Never found it worked personally though.

And this just goes to show how different it is for everyone. I seem to have got in with quite a few smaller companies and rarely do any work for the fastest finger companies. Most of the work I get is either regular or via emails and phone calls. But on the other hand I'm really struggling to get any video. Overall though, I'm hitting my monthly target, so I'm not doing badly.

I'm running for Sport Relief next week. We're doing three miles through Newcastle and Gateshead and wearing our Sunderland shirts :D

    Now thats brave
I got it to work - only the top drop down works though - the bottom one doesn't

Found that too. Still applied for all of them in the failed city bid town and the other 2 towns near me.

Starting to wonder how much MF will pay to get some of these pubs finished. fee *15 might get me to look at it :rotfl::rotfl:
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.
