Now I think you'd enjoy using a Compact System Camera, like the Sony NEX5-N. Easy to use like a compact, but you get the interchangeable lenses and quality like an SLR, I'm sure I could find someone willing to sell you one ;).

..... and how did that make me feel? ;)

I bought a D50 a few years ago, never had a clue what to do with it so it sat in the box! I must have used it 5 times in total, much asier with my compact =)

I, on the other hand, would quite like a D50. It has the autofocus built into the body, not the lens, so I'd be able to autofocus using my teleconverter.

I've got all the lingo, me!

Whereas I am utterly confused by these black boxes which try to steal my soul.

"Right. I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night half an hour before I went to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad and our mother would kill us and dance about on our graves singing Hallelujah.

And you try and tell the young people of today that ..... they won't believe you."

    Showing my age....
