Hey all, hope everyones having a nice weekend. People opinions - I have just done a RE pub meal (list A, list B). I parked the car directly outside the pub, had our meal, everything was fine and dandy. When we left, we left the car where it was and went to look around the shops, returning about an hour later. Now, when I came back, I observed a MOS outside the pub that I'd MS'd an hour before, having a cigarette, and throwing the wrapper on the floor right outside the entrance. Would people mention this in the report, or not as I had already finished the visit?

I'd like to include it somewhere but not sure you could mark them down on cleanliness in the actual report as technically it didn't happen during the time of your assessment. I haven't done one of those pubs for a while so not sure where you could add it. I'd then leave it to the MSC to decide whether to include it or not. I would hope the client would wish to know about that kind of issue but some are only interested in pats on the back instead of accurate feedback!

I'd include it in the summary of your visit, if RE decide to edit it out then that is their call.

Personally I wouldn't include it. We're asked to report our experience during the visit, not before or after.

I have been doing some clearing out of the companies that I have registered for and last year I seem to have signed up with 'Mystery Shoppers' they do not appear on the first page list on the forum, and the seem to charge £10 for a certificate with the promise of being placed ahead of the jobs available than non certified shoppers !.

Does anyone do any work for them as I have never heard from them since joining, and I am not really keen to spend £10, but would do if more jobs were offered because of it.

Their client list also seems quite impressive although looking through it a few clients are MS’d by other companies as well.

    Thoughts Anyone ?.

I do loads of work for them, plenty of variety, nice reports and decent fees, I've never had to do the certification to get work either.

I was extremely skeptical about them and particularly the £10 test thing. However, I've now worked for them a fair bit and really like them. I've not done the certification.

Just been to have a look at them as I've binned a few companies but need some more reliable ones. I've found a website under that name but can't get their links to work, I don't want to sign up and give out personal details to the wrong one so has anyone got a link please? :).
