    It seems your log tells the story
    C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\msimg32.dll (PUP.FunWebProducts)
    You (or someone on that computer) has downloaded some messenger 'add on'

    would that be the windows live messenger box that pops up everytime l turn on [ lm the sole userof my laptop, dont think my spaniel uses it:rotfl:] lve never knowingly asked for it :(
    can l stop it appearing?

    Post back to this thread if you have any related problems in the next day or so.

    You can delete DDS, DDS.txt & attach.txt - just right click and delete.

    In messenger Click on Tools > Options
    On the left pane, select Sign In
    Uncheck “Automatically run Windows Messenger when I log on to my Windows”

    and press download now, is it free, had the virus thing yesterday, did system restore while in safe mode, would it now be gone or should i download this
