small 4wd
Anyone remember any 4wd, (well could be 2 if they exist) small girlie 4wd's like the Suzuki Jimny, or the Samurai?
Cheap as possible (sub £1000 preferably).
Anything, (apart from the Lada), small, not proper off roaders, I know there were a couple of others, but I can't remember them.
Any age, 80's onwards I'm thinking of.

SJ413 (Samurai) is a handy little off roader but they're getting rare and one in good nick is likely to have an asking price of over £1k. Soft top versions can be a bit chilly in the winter.
Rav4s aren't bad for a 'girlie' 4x4. Suzuki Vitara?0 -
Can't remember many to be honest but most were Suzuki. Although the smaller ones hold their value better than the bigger ones, so you don't find many under a grand.
The majority under a grand seem, to be Frontera's and Cherokees. Samurai's can be pretty expensive as they're popular for off roading due to their weight.0 -
Fiat Panda 4x4 assuming there's still some left that haven't rotted away. They did those from the 80s.0

If you can find one, and they were expensive new and to look after properly, so you might be lucky, get a Sportrak. One of the most under-rated 4x4s that were ever on our roads.0

Subaru Justy? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2000-SUBARU-JUSTY-GX-AWD-SILVER-/180792208895?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2a180e2dff
If you want something that's a bit more car like.
5t.What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0 -
Comedy options: Nissan Sunny/Pulsar GTi-R, Subaru Vivio RX-R0

Your going to be very lucky to get a small serviceable 4x4 for your budget especially in winter.

They don't come much more girly than the Suzuki X90!There is nothing better in life than writing on the sole of your slipper with a biro.....0

Our neighbor is a small holder and he has one of those old Subaru 4x4 pickups. It is held together by duck tape due to the tin worm but it is a 1988 and goes in any muddy field you can think of, shame there is no more cheap 4x4 like these anymore.Five exclamation marks the sure sign of an insane mind!!!!!
