Expansys - cancelled Nov order

Options
I placed an order for a speciality tripod Nov 19th with Expansys as a Christmas present.
I was quoted a price of 22.94 +vat +P&P although they never took the money.

After continuous waiting and e-mails to and froing they then said the item was on pre-order and took the price off - this was not the case when i had ordered it. The item is now in stock at £48.95 +vat +P&P and i have had an e-mail from them with no explanation that they have cancelled my order.

Are they in breach of contract as they had made an offer of slae which i accepted?
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

As no money changed hands you havent got a hope (legally) of a result here.
Your best bet would be to phone them up and explain the situation, if you get them on a good day you might get it at the price quoted, but I doubt it.
