Going abroad, benefits on return ? DLA

I shall be going to live with relatives now they have lowered my claims for care and mobility to the lower levels. Italy. ( Their well off ! )
I shall not bother trying to take my care allowance with me, as it seems so much effort and I just can't cope with it. Aunty also said not to bother.
My problem is, if I return to UK say after 3 or 4 years will there be problems claiming, Income support, DLA, Housing etc ?
Having a read of this to try and fathom it out. "habitual residence test"
But prefer real peoples answers to these written things.
Thank you.

it is only the care component that can still be claimed when you are abroad (not mobility)

Re the habitual residence test, are you keeping bank account, property etc in the UK. The test is to see if the return to the UK is only to claim benefits. Will you have family you can move in with initially as these things can take time0 -

I don't think anyone could tell you what would be the situation on claiming disability benefits in 3/4 years time except it would be a reasonable assumption that it won't get any easier.0 -

I shall be keeping my bank account, but not bothering to claim anything with the hassle Ive read about it. If I came back in say 3 years I would only be able to stay a few weeks with a friend then I'm not sure. Getting worried about something way off I know, but thats how I am.0 -
