Payday loans?

Can you get a letter from your company confirming that you will get a bonus? Or is it stated in your contract? Just thinking that might sway the bank to give you a temporary OD increase or something?0

Why don't you cancel the dd and that way you won't incure any bank charges you can reset them and by then you will have the money you are waiting for. Yes it will annoy the creditors a little but it gives you the breathing space you are looking for without any further bank charges.0

misspoppy, that's exactly what I have just done. I spoke to the loan company (IF) and they don't do payment holidays etc. So she said the best thing would be to cancel the DD (which I have), IF will charge me £25 and it will go on my credit rating (actually the thing I was most bothered about), but it will tide me over for this month.
I also cancelled my CC payment to Egg, which I am sure will also incur a charge. But overall I guess it will be less than the payday loan charge would be.
I am writing up an SOA right now. I also just went through the cccs thing online, and it highlighted what I already know - my income is less than my outgoings ...
Main thing I need to do is get the girlfriend back into work! (she quit before xmas, but until then we were just about managing between us).0 -
can you not pay cash to these two when you have it so its not a total month default if its just a few days late it might be ok0
