Ppi

Hi, i had loan 10 years plus, i have the credit numbers, would i claim PPI. I defaulted on the loans would i still be able to claim. I did not request any PPI and i thought it was mandatory, i was not given an option if i wanted it or not. thanx

    You can still make a complaint. However, if your complaint is successful, they can use the money against the default. You need to be careful that your complaint doesnt encourage them to start coming after you for the money if that has gone quiet.

    They can use the redress to go against the amount written off. So, unless the PPI premium was higher than the amount written off, its not worth it. If it is higher, then you would get the surplus if your complaint was successful.
