Barclaycard to barclaycard husband to wife?

I have a b/card with o/s balance of around 4k and we wish to transfer it to a new b/card in mt wifes name to take advantage of a 0% deal. What would be the best method if any? Thanks

You will not be able to transfer from one Barclaycard directly to another Barclaycard, regardless of whose name it is in. Yes, my wife has an mbna, but we have already transferred 2k to this one on interest free.0

Have a look at your online account with MBNA and see if there are any other BT offers on there. If not ring them and ask. If there is nothing you will need another card not run by Barclaycard - and if you can get that then you wont need the Barcalaycard if the credit limit is high enough.0
