Cost of fitting wooden flooring...

Evening all
Apologies, have looked across the forum and not been able to find an answer anywhere. I was wondering if anyone had any experience in fitting tiles/wood flooring? Or more appropriately has anyone paid anyone to do such a thing recently?
The situation we are in, is that we have 3 very different quotes from people to fit our flooring. Its for the whole of the downstairs and also the bathrooms. The kitchen works out at roughly 23sqm and then the bathrooms combined (should point out that we are not tiling the whole of the bathrooms) is 35sqm.
The wood flooring will cover approximately 40sqm if my memory serves me correctly, so you are looking at a weeks work roughly.
Anyone got any ideas on how much I should be expecting to pay for fitting of this?
Any help much appreciated

sounds more like 3 days work to me.
Ave price for fitting laminate here is £10.50 - 12.50 m squ, for real wood flooring it can be from the same or anything upto £20 or more!!
my oh is doing my sisters 60m at £9 as a favour rate, a joiner quoted her £1.200.
so are you meaning real wood?
will they be removing and repacing skirting?0 -

No we've ripped up all the old flooring; just in the process of getting some underlay for the wooden flooring.
So it's pretty much just a case of putting the flooring down and sorting the tiles out for the bathroom and also the kitchen (different tiles here)0 -
so what quotes have you had? is it real wood?0

Well it's wood; but the easy join stuff. Quite thick as well.
The quotes have ranged from £1000 to £1600 for all the wood flooring and tiling.0 -
if you want advice you need to be more precise and split the whole quote up for anyone to do a proper aparaisal for you, area of tiling etc.0

The coverage is as mentioned in my 1st post; Kitchen works out at roughly 23sqm and then the bathrooms combined are 35sqm.

Not sure what else I can say; what do you mean more precise? Apologies if I am coming across a bit of an idiot. Just this is really the last thing that needs to be done in our house before we can really move in.
As you can imagine, money is getting tight.0 -
Have you considered laying the flooring yourself, as you mention money is tight? I'm not sure whether you're talking about laminate or read wood flooring, but I just laid laminate throughout my flat and it was easy peasy (and I'm a complete novice), I assume the real stuff works on the same principle?0

3 weeks ago i paid £230 for real wood flooring (natura) to be fitted in a room size 15.5 x 13 ft plus skirting boards (this was 2 guys and took them roughly 3.5 hours)0
