Motability done asway with £2000 Advance Payment limit?

Was looking on the Motability site last week and noticed that there was some cars over the £2000 AP limit.

Then went looking further and there are cars on there for well over the £2000 AP.

I thought they capped the cars value at £25,000 and the AP limit was to be £2000?

had a look in my neighbours motability book and they list a range rover sport in there for a 25k down payment :O

Yeah before Jan this year you could pretty much have what ever car you wanted. Most of the small/medium stuff was no deposit, but you could have some really big lumpy stuff like a RRS for a mega deposit.

They then capped the cars price at £25,000 for this year
