I have 4k left to invest, could anyone advise me of the best way to procced?
Would you recomend a savings account or maybe something with a little risk? I have already maxed out my ISA for this year.
Thanks for the advice.

It entirely depends on your attitude to risk, and whether this is a long-term savings/investment plan. Do you envisage needing the money at some stage in the near(ish) future?
On a scale of 1-10, how do you feel about risk? Say 1 = buying 4,000 Lottery tickets for tomorrow night, and 10 = sticking it all in a 5-year fixed rate bond with a reliable well-known bank.

How willing are you to take risk? And how long do you plan on investing the money for?0

Ok i thought about it maybe i'll avoid the risk for now. I was thinking of putting it into a savings account for now and then adding another 3k to my ISA in april. Does this sound like the wisest investment? In Progress!!!0

Well it's certainly what I'd do if it were me. Have you got a decent savings account already? If not there are many paying over 5.5% at the moment, so either search around yourself or pop back and ask for recommendations from people on this board.
