PPI Success

Thanks to dilus & dunstonh for the advice on my original post. I made my own claim, and today have had an offer.
Question is do I accept 1st offer or is it worth pushing for more.
Might sound as though I'm getting greedy, but the letter from the company says they are repaying PPI since Nov 2003 plus interest at Cedit card company rate, plus further interest at 8%. In my current financial state it is a tidy sum.
However heres the grey area, they say that for some of the months they are repaying they have used an average premium during that period as they cant locate statements, and for the 1st 4 years (1999-2003) they are making no offer as they hold no records and have said that if I can provide copies (which I cant) they will review.
Do I accept or push for more (without supporting statements) - if so could they withdraw the initial offer ?
Thanks

That's fabulous news and you are very welcome :T
If you can't supply statements for the missing years or for the period they are averaging ACCEPT IT
They can offer no more than what they have, with no evidence to support it. Great result and nice to hear :j:beer::beer::)Successes

Well after my success above I recently contacted Marbles who I had a credit card and a loan that was paid off about 5 years ago.
Unfortunately I had no documents, or account details, so my letter was just a shot in dark, but I mentioned previous addresses and that loan was taken in maiden name and I was now married.
I got a reply from HFC basically saying they had no record of me on their files, and that unless I could quote account number they would be unable to take matter further
What, if anything can I do now ?0
