I cannot see the problem. It is only stating fact.
As far a value to the employer goes, reason for absence is irrelavent.0 -

perhaps if you worked in a idustry that may pay bonuses, for example.and then 1 year you didn't get your bonus, because of all the temps or agency staff the company had to employ,to cover sick abcence? now who should we blame? i know lets have a look at the abcence league table
You wouldn't need to look....you'd know! The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!
4 people on the ignore list....Bliss!0 -

Do you see that as wrong?0 -
yes i do,what if 1 of the workers had a very personal reason or mental illness/suffered dipression.should the employer encourage the workforce to feel recentment to that person,by producing a league table?
Surely if one member of staff has caused others to lose out financially, they should know who it was.
That is unless they do not care about their bonus.0 -
I would see it as a sign of weak management - they dont know how to manage absence!
People are off sick and genuine, any sensible business knows this and builds it into their budgeting and forecasting, so blaming others for losing out on bonuses as others are sick is potentially a toxic organisation and not one I would put up with.0 -

i'm glad i never worked with your type.0 -
so regardless of why the person was forced to take sick leave, you'd still want to blame them ?

I would think that it is up to those who have lost their bonuses whether they wish to blame the person or not. The list is just a statement of fact. How people wish to interpret the facts is their business.0
