Vodafone 3G Network Down??

Has anyone been having trouble with this over recent months. I've been dropping calls and thinking there was a handset problem, but just before Christmas a couple of friends reported having similar problems on Vodafone and the solution was to turn off 3G. It worked, but I'm not paying a monthly contract for 2G performance and neither are they. I put up with it because I thought it was a temporary thing but it just keeps happening. It isn't an isolated thing or only happening in one area as I see Vodafone have been fobbing people off with.

Anyone on here having trouble with their network performance?

    Hi Alscaff,

I am sorry to hear that you have been having network issues recently. I understand how frustrating it can be.

If it's a known fault on the network, we will post it here on our Faults board. We will also update the thread as soon as it has been fixed. If it's not listed, drop me an email to the address here with WRT135 FAO Heidi in the subject and a link to your post and I will look into it further for you.

    Kind regards,

  • I got an iphone 4 from vodafone in May last year and had brilliant 3G signal at home and work - 4 or 5 bars all the time
Then in October it all changed, 3G signal is now rubbish 1 or 2 bars and regular pop up messages saying the 'signal lost'
Vodafone's answer was turn the phone to 2G - what's the point of that. Vodafone insist there is nothing wrong with their network and said its the phone.
Apple replaced my iphone and surprise surprise I still have no usable 3G signal so it must be the network
They've changed my sim card 3 times but it hasn't made any difference. When my contract ends I will have to change networks. how very disappointing

I get no 3G at home despite voodofones coverage map showing orange indicating "variable speed" for internet and email.
And for calls and texts I'm shown as red "good indoors" - Nope unless I am upstairs by the front window.
