Problem with Kurt Geiger online

One the 16th December I purchased some shoes from Kurt Geiger online (5 pairs). Costs were -

£25.05
£21.60
£25.05 *
£21.60 *
£33.70 *

Paying £72 on my credit card and using a gift card for £59. After I'd used it, gift card was disposed of.

One the same day I ordered another pay of shoes on a seperate order on my credit card for

£29.00 *

From the first order I returned three pairs of shoes and the second order was also returned as again they were too small. I asked for alternate sizes but as they were sale products I was given a refund instead. This is where the problem starts. The ones with stars were the ones returned.


One 31st December I checked my Credit card statement and it says I have been refunded three seperate amounts of -

£25.05
£25.00
£4.00

and nothing else. I have not had a new gift card issues if they had refunded money there and I am still short from the rest of the order.
I have emailed them four times and also written on ther Facebook wall and I'm getting no where, all I get is ' you have been refunded the correct amount. I have asked my emails to be passed to a supervisor but I presume this hasn't happened as I have had no response.

Can anyone advise what I can do next?

you have been refunded the correct amount simply isn't good enough.

Talk to your credit card company.

If that doesn't work, write a letter before action.

I believe Kurt Geiger do refund the part of the order which has been paid by the gift card back onto the gift card - there have been a few threads regarding them refusing to issue a new giftcard when the old one had been thrown away.

Was the gift card part of the ELLE promotion? If it was, anything bought with that money won't be refunded, apparently.

If not, I'd contact them and ask them to confirm the refund amount and why it is so little. Does it correspond to current sale prices? If not, they've almost definitely refunded onto the giftcard, and you'll either need to find it or argue with them to give you a new one.

If you go to the payment details for your original order, does this show the gift card number?
If it does, you will be able to check the balance online and use the credit for a future purchase.

I've noticed that it states refunds will be done with a gift card, and not onto the same giftcard that was used for the original payment, so maybe there is one on its way to you in the post.
