Reclaiming Bank Charges when on a DMP

A few months back I went on a DMP plan, and changed to a new bank account.
My old account had an overdraft and I had used this plus the buffer limit they had given me (for which they charged £25 per week every time I used it).
I was going through a lot of financial hardship at the time.
I was going through the snowball effect, that when my pay came, it would pay off the overdraft and the buffer, but by the end of the month i was back in the overdraft and using the buffer, therefore getting charged the fee every month.
As I am now on a DMP and my account has closed down can I still claim these charges back?
If any one can help with this it would be great.

Reclaiming bank charges is very difficult since the banks won the court case. It is totally reliant on the goodwill of the bank. How much goodwill is the bank likely to give you now the account is closed and you have left them with a debt?
Even if they do decide to refund some, you wont get it. They can use any redress they pay against any debt you owe them or was written off as part of the settlement.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
