OP's on a cable connection,not phoneline based DSL broadband,her's runs over the same line as the TV service so if her neighbors on an ADSL connection,comparing stats is irrelevent.
...however, it's relevant if they're likely to get 10meg plus ADSL and are willing to pay for the phone line to be installed...........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

Of course i know that, the point i was making was that since Talktalk have told the OP that he/she can get 10 meg on ADSL2+, then that is likely to be a conservative estimate and chances are that the OP will get significantly higher speeds than 10 meg on ADSL2+...ie don't take ISPs speed predictions as gospel.0
