Barclaycard PPI Reclaim

I wonder if someone could advise me, I had an offer made dated 19th October which stated that transactions would appear on my next statement etc. as the payment is progressed. I accepted and signed the form straght away and sent it back. It is now 12th Jan (some 84 days later) and my third statement since receiveing the above letter, and there is no record of any re-payment transaction and the money has definitely not appeared in my bank account.
I would like to know whether this is this a reasonable amount of time to be waiting or not before I contact them to register my displeasure.
Thanks
Alex

I had a PPI claim with Barclaycard which was finally settled December 2011 after starting it in June 2011! I have had a letter from Barclaycard dated 3.1.12 stating that they have paid the money into my bank account but they have not! Just another black mark against them as far as I am concerned. Having read your post I am really worried but apparently they have 8 weeks (40 days) to pay you. So quite frankly I think they need a short sharp shock. It has been suggested to me by someone on this forum that if I dont get the money, that I threaten them with the Small Claims Court, don't know if you have consdiered this?Growing old disgracefully!0

Thanks for the reply
Not considered that as yet. I decided to ring them yesterday afternoon and they accepted that things were proceeding slow (understatement) and the lady I spoke to said that she would take it up with the appropriate personnel and for me to ring back in a weeks time. I will give them until the end of next week.0 -
Just to update, after ringing customer service last week, I have now been paid out this week, coincidence?????
Anyway, i am now satisfied (at last!!!!)0
