Wickes + Sheridans + Bathroom City

homemakeover
Hi, I have just completed a total refurbishment of my flat. My contractor, Joe Hayes was incredible and the only light in a messy, dark tunnel. I chose to get a Wickes made to order kitchen. Wickes work with Sheridans. My advice: DONT WORK WITH EITHER!! Wickes West Hampstead are no help. Wrong cupboards delivered. But then quickly replaced. Sheridans have been beyond pathetic. Whatever you do DONT use Sheridans. I have had the most diabolical service. They are beyond incompetent. First they arrived and couldnt bring the granite inside. I had to get two extra people to assist. Then once in, they realised that they had cut the incorrect holes for my sink. They needed to bring me a new sink. A month later they arrived with new slabs!! No sink. This morning I expect them to arrive, now that i have helped them source a new sink to fit their wrong cutout. The guy arrives without the sink!!! Pathetic, incompetent. They were part of my kitchen purchase from Wickes in West Hampstead. DO NOT USE!!!
Bathroom City were supposed to supply the cabinet in the bathroom, toilet and sink. I ordered a white top and extra sides to fit the width of the room. I got black tops! Delayed my job by nearly a week.
As I write this I am still waiting for the kitchen sink! Two months later. There are many good people and companies out there. These three are not them.

Hi,
sorry to perhaps raise an old thread from the depths, but I read (well, searched) this forum and the internet to look for Bathroom City as I am undergoing a large bathroom refurbishment in my house.
I noticed your thread, and having ordered my items from the main showroom of Bathroom City, I had an incredibly quick delivery, and the items I had wre all even ready assembled, how good is that?
Anyway, long story short... if you use wickes, expect to be treated like a statisitc as they are a massive oufit that felt to me like they are just focused on numbers, not people. I have to admit, although I never used them before, the service I received from Bcity was impeccable. I had the opportunity to have a bathroom design for free, which helped me a lot as I'm utterly useless at DIY. Furthermore, they called within a few days to organise delivery, and the driver, John, was helpful to a fault.
I can't recommend using Bathroom city enough, they were brilliant. I would only ask that you consider what happened for waht it was; a simple colour mixup - it could have been your entire kitchen!
Hope your refurb is complete with no more hassle, just like mine0
