Credit reference question

Hello,
This might be an odd question, or not the right place. But hopefully I can get some advice.
I'm on the electoral roll at my rented house in the Midlands, where I have my name on the utility bills and where I'm currently working.
But all my banking, car, investments etc are registered to my parents' house as I still view that as my permanent address (cos they aren't going anywhere - just yet - and because swapping everything when I move house is a pain - I graduated last year, moved house, then moved in with boyfriend etc etc etc).
How will this square with my credit record? Which one should I use next time I apply for things? Or should I just bite the bullet and swap everything (bearing in mind I'm planning to move in about 6 months time!)?
I'd greatly appreciate any advice!
Thanks, Nich

Would recommend swapping everything, had the same problem when I moved out but things where easier when verything was at mine. Maybe try applying for things at your parents and see how that works.2p off is still 2p off!0

When you say you are moving are you buying? If you do not have any need for credit in the near future I'd sort everything out now. If you will need credit soon you might want to leave changing things until after your move, it really depends how many things don't stack up on your reports so maybe getting hold of them would be a good idea?0

Thanks for those thoughts. I've been thinking about getting a credit report - but I'm not sure which address I'd have as my current (i.e. permanent) one, if you know what I mean. I only joined the electoral roll really recently because I kept hanging on to my parents' address, until they kindly informed me that they'd taken me off the electoral roll at home!
So would you recommend getting a credit report on my rented house, with my parents address as a previous one?
Thanks again.0 -
I think that would be best, the other way around makes little sense and it is probably best to be on the electoral roll wherever you apply from.0
