Can anyone point me in the right direction of the template letter for threatening court action to credit card company for refusal to pay my £12 charges.
Sent first letter. They replied by enclosing a leaflet from the ombudsman stating £12 is fair!
thanks guys

You need to have a plan from the very beginning. Making it up as you go along does not improve your chances, I know from personal experience. You need to send them a preliminary request for payment (with a schedule of charges), then 14 days pass, then Letter Before Action, then 14 days, then submit a court claim. If you don't stick to this rigid way of working you will find they don't take you seriously.
There is another forum where you can get template letters and a plan of action. Not sure if its ok to link to it here but it will crop up on Google if you search properly.0 -
thanks for your prompt reply! I will search out the template as you suggested.0
