Claiming PPI if defaulted

Options
Hi,

Can anybody tell me if its worth me trying to reclaim PPI on a loan and 3 credit cards which I defaulted on 3 years ago? I have since paid the 3 credit cards off, but I am still paying off the Natwest loan. All went to outside to debt collection agencies - does this make a difference?

My reason for asking is that I don't want to rock the boat with repayment of the loan as we have a mutually agreed repayment plan with interest and charges frozen.

I do know that PPI was automatically added to these accounts without any real explanation as to why I should have it.

Thanks,

Caroline.

If you paid the cc in full, then any redress will come to you,if there are arrears on the loan, they can use redress to reduce this.
You would have to see what the ppi total was and see if any redress you get will go a long way towards settling this loan, that would have to be your decision.
