Then the Housing Benefit people are wrong and the way to handle this would have been to appeal their decision.
But I am afraid that at that point I am out of this thread and any further ones you write - this is the second time you have leapt to conclusions and had a go at me for giving you the information that you asked for, and there won't be a third.0 -
There is absolutely no point in answering any of your queries as:
a - you seem to change stories when you don't get the answers you require
b - you seem to have a pop at people answering the question you asked, and berate them for not answering a question that you didn't ask.
So, a complete waste of time. IMHO.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
OP, is there actually a question outstanding now on your thread?
I am quite confused now.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
I think I just got a bit riled when someone accused our chairperson of drawing a wage and being a trustee at the same time.
Thank you for all of your replies.0 -

Thank you for all of your replies.
I asked whether the chairperson was a trustee and receiving pay for work because this situation (trustee doing separate paid work for the same charity) has arisen on the forum before. It wasn't an accusation: it was a question.
That question arose because you said you asked for her NI number. I had therefore asked why you needed that number. (The doing paid work for the charity could have been an explanation.) However your answer made no sense to me. You said "They needed employers NI number." The chairperson isn't the employer, the charity (presumably a legal entity of some kind) is the employer. Organisations don't have NI numbers.
Any way, your situation is probably unique and you are satisfied with what you have done and apparently had no reason to ask the question other than providing a resource for someone else to find the discussion if they had a question which was the same as the one you posed.
I give up now too.0 -
OK, next time I'll just post for myself and not think about anyone else who might be in the same situation. I also won't let you know when or how I have resolved the situation. :wall:0

How does not telling anyone the actual story or facts that matter impact on anyone else who might the same [and thus a different] problem?
You might as well say 'I am having a problem with strawberries but I'm posting about blackcurrants in case anyone else has a blackcurrant issue in the future'. And then getting annoyed when people advise on the blackcurrant issue. If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0
