I have never had a single message in my other box until the waterstones chap sent me a message yesterday and have known about it for ages so always check.

Think my road will be slippy when I go to work it always ices over really bad.

I am obsessive waiting for postie too. I always look for the van knowing he will be here within ten minutes when I see it and then wait for my letterbox to go but frustrates me if I am waiting for a parcel and he doesnt knock i drive OH mad all day if I have missed postie asking what there is for me.

Morning all.

Hope our postie manages to deliver today (bet he'll still have his shorts on). The snow froze hard last night and our road was treachorous. It's thawing again slowly now but still very slippy.

My Car Tax is due this month too sheils, it's not too bad as I only have a Clio. I was amazed when OH bought his car, it's a Renault Megane and the Road Tax is only £30 a year!

Shorts? :eek: my DH hates the cold, he's got no blood in him! He puts about 5 layers of clothes on and still complains!

Even if its a little win it makes your day. Just a shame postie keeps disappointing me and only bringing boring stuff when I am waiting for wins to arrive

I'm desperate for the postie to arrive today as I'm waiting for a few things, including one from the beginning of December which Woman magazine says was posted last week. I also saw on FB that some winners have already received their Dr Lowe night cream from Woman's Own and I haven't got mine yet.

Of course as I'm eagerly awaiting his arrival there's no sign of him - he's usually here around 9, but if not then it's 1 and it's sometimes been as late as 5! The post seems really hit and miss with us at the moment as quite often we only get post once every 2 days.

We used to have a lovely postie who was wonderful, always on time, knew he had to give me a little while to get the door if he rang and even cleared our path of snow last winter when I was on crutches and OH had hurt his back. But we haven't seen him for ages and none of the new ones we've had either don't know where he's gone or won't say.

Have had two WEMs from the Clean Campaign in the past two days - blotting sheets and a mascara - so doing well from that now.

The weather's cold here but all the snow has gone so there's nothing to freeze and get slippery. As I have some mobility issues following an accident a couple of years ago I'm petrified I'll fall over and won't be able to get up again as it's happened before and I was mortified! Haven't stuck my nose out of the door for days but I have to go out tomorrow so praying it won't be slippery.

Glad clean campaign are still sending emails. I haven't had any for two weeks. I had three right when it first started but nothing since

Plus the 2 Clean Campaign items and the Horrid Henry book from this week, so not even thinking about them yet.

It was me, I entered it in a rush and was amazed when I got the email

I've had no luck at all on the 'Clean campaign' comp, don't know what I'm doing wrong.

So fed up of creeping around the house while OH is asleep. Last shift tonight for him then he's off for a fortnight thank goodness.

No post here again today, I don't think he can be coming as it's unusual not to get any 2 days running.
