I went years to Howletts years ago when my Daughter was at school. Problem was it was a hot day so most of the animals were in hiding. I went as a parent on a school trip and my group were more fascinated by a squirrel that was pinching food from one of the cages. That and a monkey with a big red butt that was eating its own vomit YUK!

We went to Chester Zoo two years ago but we went on a lovely sunny Easter Sunday and it was mobbed - enjoyed it though and kids got a free egg!

Just been for the weekly shop - we had a long walk in the country and a picnic first so tired out now.
If anyone is interested Premier Inn has £29 offers on for March,April & May. I booked a night at start of our Easter Hols so we can go to Alton Towers - must decide what else we are doing.

Must get some comping done now.

Hope all is well,I am ok,this morning up early for walking Group,had breakfast,sat on sofa and tears came down my face,I had to ring back parents and say I wasnt going.Rang them to let them know as well.I have had a quiet day.feeling much better in myself.Must be January blues.

Have to laugh. Got home from work there was a parcel. Only thing is it is something I ordered on 12th December and is now no use to me. I have been in constant email communication with the company and had reported it missing with them. They can go whistle if they think I am paying to return it out of my own pocket

It's good you do not keep your emotions "bottled up".

I think you could be right about the January blues.

Wonderful that your parents are there to support you and of course you have all your friends both at home and in the Inn who will do what they can to help lift your spirits.

Hi Katie, hope you are feeling better. I know how easy it is to feel down. You have loads of friends and family and keep yourself busy with your busy social life and your comping. Hopefully the weather will start to pick up soon and with spring on its way put a spring in out steps. Hope tomorrow is a better day for you.
