Hello all, new comper here.

Started yesterday after a work colleague was bragging about how he got his new Motorola Xoom, two hours of filling in my details and I'm hooked, my usual slow and uneventful sunday shift livened up somewhat in the process, close to 400 comps entered so far with the emphasis shifted from things I want to just the general fun of entering, as a father of two (very) young children a lot of free time is spent in the front room so I think a new hobby may well have been discovered.

So after a few hours of comping I wondered how many people spend a good chunk of their free time doing this, a quick google search and I find there's a whole community! The image I had would be mildly OCD people keeping comps they've found to themselves but fair enough, looking forward to being a part of it and hopefully I'll get my mitts on some free chocolate soon.

I also have a young son 18months how old are your two?

You will find everyone in here very welcoming and lovely. I've been doing comps just under a year in total would say but have a few good useful prizes. Hopefully your first win will come in no time.

Morning all

Well I thought early night was in LO had other ideas he kept crying in his sleep keeping me awake but when I looked in on him he was still n sleep. Just before 11 we found out why heard him being ill poor boy didn't know what was happening he looked a tad scared. So just gone 11 OH was bathing him while I sorted out his bed. He didn't make another noise so hopefully he's ok when he wakes. I think he ate too much of his lunch n his body couldn't cope with the amount of food in him. Poor boy not such a nice end to a wonderful day.

Welcome Rick and good luck with the comping. I think most of us on here spend a lot of their free time comping.(some of us far too much!)

Hope LO is ok now Jane - what a shame he had such a bad end to the day. Its colds we can't get rid of here.

O'h well heres to a lucky week!

Shelis he's still sleeping so that's good, sleep is best thing for it, plus he needs to catch up on the hour or so he lost, suits me I can get a few comps in now washer is on lol

I've got the radio file now, just listen to it and it's not too bad, no idea how I would put it on here thou, any ideas........lol

Rick if you want free chocolate try the tesco competition on ther facebook page they are giving away bars of the new cadbury bubbly chocolate.

I have got my emails and the qvc blog open and will be checking them all morning now (yes I know i know very silly) just want to be put out of my curiosity. Although last time I was waiting for a competition to announce the winner of a 'judged effort' one i was very disappointed as seemed to me when i read the winning comment that they hadn't done much judging at all

Time will tell.

Got through 13 chapters of my read and review last night. Really into it and can't wait to review this one. Last one I had wasn't really my thing so i skim read it after the first few chapters to do my review.

Hope my Horrid Henry book turns up soon. I will write on their fb wall again if it's not here tomorrow I think.

Must admit DH reads most of the books I get and tells me about them and I review them. Have read a couple lately tho - The Panoptican and The Blue Door. Trying to decide what to read next.

Becki is the Tesco 1 one where you have to print it off, as can't get printer to work with my laptop (no idea why lol)

Thanks, he's still sleeping but I expect him to be awake soon, poor thing must of been knackered, as he didn't really have much sleep in day either

Will try the tesco one at some point. It is one win per customer anyway so plenty of hours for me to give it a go. Never say no to free chocolate. Must try and find my clubcard though as not been to tesco for a while
