  • Postie bought one of my clean campaign prizes today. Got another 2 to come but not won anything in it for about 2 weeks. Think early on hardly anyone entered but havent seen as many MSE wins from it as I expected.

Still no Horrid Henry book Sue. I take comfort that if neither if us have received it we are ok for now :)

I got my "Me and my Plant" book this morning - it's great for a freebie so will go into my tombola box for local charity Open Day in June.

I don't know if it was the postie who delivered it as OH said the guy who put it through the door wasn't wearing anything to show he was Royal Mail, had no bag, bike etc so may have been someone redelivering it who had it put through their door by mistake.

Still no Horrid Henry for me either Becks and no Clean Campaign prizes, but I won mine after you won yours so no pressure yet. My OH laughs at me as I have a spreadsheet of what I've won and roughly when I expect to receive it (i.e. 28 days after the wem etc) but if I didn't do it this way I'd forget to chase things and lose out.

Glad you got your Kleenex prize Becks :) the thorntons thing is a bag put through your door then you fill in an online survey and put a code number on the bag then leave on your doorstep the next morning which they then put chocs inside :)

I must remember to post my royal mail survey today too. Loving the free stamps! :D

Good idea with the spread sheets SueMaggie :) I write all my wins in a book but unfortunately the book wasn't very good and I think. Lost some pages :o
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

I have got a cheap diary I am writing my wins for this year in. I write in day I win and then when it arrives. I wasn't going to but thought as first full year comping I should keep track in case I do need to ever chase something.

Just had lunch at the in laws. MIL has decided that every Frday I have to have my lunch with her but she never texts me to ask until just before I need to leave to get there :D

Not keen on my Friday shift. Don't finish until 7. Just hope it is busy.

Hi all, still no normal post here. We recieved a sign for envelope earlier by van which was the deeds to our house etc. Not sure what we are supposed to do with them now? I'm sure we should make an appointment at the bank to arrange for them to store them safely. God forbid anything should happen to them if we hold onto them.

Had a busy morning changing beds, I swear my OH is the only person who needs a Sat Nav to put on a duvet cover, his side seems to have more corners than edges for some reason.

I still have no search bar for the forums showing on my screen, not sure what's happened there.

    Hi everyone,

Done my shopping and got my hair done so have a little time to comp before organising the meal.
We haven't had a Thorntons Survey for years Wingo - they are my favourite choccies!

Sue our solicitor keeps our title deeds for free - don't know if they all do. A bank will probably charge to keep them. I'm useless with duvets too!

Sorry your tickets weren't more exciting Red - I never enter for anything too far away.

Thanks Sheils, I've spoken to our 'Personal Banker' and he said banks don't do it anymore because nowadays everything is held electronically anyway so the actual paperwork isn't such a big deal as it used to be. He's suggested we buy a fireproof box and use that to store them in along with any other important paperwork (passports, insurance etc).
